Hello - My name is Tanya Woods. This is my first year on staff at Deer Creek Elementary.  For the past two and a half school years I volunteered in the classrooms, helped with parties, made copies, served as room mother, helped with walk-across-America and assisted with field day activities.  Before transferring to Edmond in 2004 I worked as a substitute teacher and teachers aid in the St. Louis, Missouri school district of Wentzville. In 1990 I graduated from Evangel University with a B.S. in health, recreation and P.E.  Before leaving St. Louis, I had also started working toward my Masters in physical education.  I have been married to my husband Dale for sixteen years, and we have twin sons.  Brendan and Blake will be sixth graders at Deer Creek Middle school this year.  I look forward to working with both the staff and students this year.
