I attended Oklahoma State University where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. Sometime later, I went back to school at South Western Oklahoma State University to complete a Masters in Elementary Education.

I am a Board Certified teacher, and I also teach Early Childhood Education classes at night through the El Reno Technology Center and Redlands Community College. I have taught several different ages, from preschool to adults. I truly love teaching all ages.

My family lives in Bartlesville and includes my daughter, Carie; my son-in-law, Andy; and Kendall and Claire, my two grand-daughters.

I enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, and camping. Reading, arts and crafts, and sewing are also hobbies of mine.
