I have been teaching in the public schools for fourteen years.  I
taught in a private preschool for two years.  My degree is in Early
Childhood Education which I received at East Central University.  My
previous teaching experiences include Wynnewood, Oklahoma and Mangum, Oklahoma. I achieved my National Board Certification in 2005.  I am a Great Expectations instructor and am thrilled to be teaching in a GE Model School!

     I am the mother of twin daughters, Darcey and Whitney.  Whitney is
attending Oklahoma Christian University where she is pursuing the nursing
program.  Darcey is attending Lubbock Christian University.  She is studying
sports medicine and is playing for the women's golf team.  Her Freshman year
she was named Academic All-American.  I attend the Edmond Church of Christ. 
I have taught bible class to young children for over twenty years.  For the
past twenty-one years, I have spent two weeks each summer in the mountains
of New Mexico teaching teenagers about Christian living.  My hobbies include
spending time with friends, interior design, gardening, looking for antiques
and reading. 

     I am so excited to be a teacher at Deer Creek Elementary!  Being part
of a GE Model School is an incredible experience! I appreciate having such involved parents to work with.  The students and faculty at Deer Creek Elementary are outstanding!
