I love kindergarten! This will be my seventeenth year to teach kindergarten! I have taught in a full day kindergarten program for fifteen years. I taught in a private preschool for two years.  My degree is in Early Childhood Education which I received at East Central University.  My previous teaching experiences include Wynnewood, Oklahoma and Mangum, Oklahoma. I achieved my National Board Certification in 2005.  I am a Great Expectations instructor and am thrilled to be teaching in a GE Model School!

     I am the mother of twin daughters, Darcey and Whitney.  Whitney will graduate from Oklahoma Christian University in May! She will be a Registered Nurse!  Darcey is pursuing a degree in political science at Oklahoma Christian University. She hopes to receive her law degree from O.U.

   I attend the Edmond Church of Christ.  I have taught bible class to young children for over twenty years.  For the past twenty-one years, I have spent two weeks each summer in the mountains of New Mexico teaching teenagers about Christian living.  My hobbies include spending time with friends, interior design, gardening, looking for antiques and reading. 

     I am so excited to be a teacher at Deer Creek Elementary!  Being part
of a GE Model School is an incredible experience! I appreciate having such involved parents to work with.  The students and faculty at Deer Creek Elementary are outstanding!
