I am so excited to be a part of the excellent staff here at Deer Creek Elementary.  I am looking forward to working with and getting to know all of the new and returning students and teachers.  I have been involved with DCES in a volunteer capacity for the past two years as a classroom volunteer, walk-a-thon coordinator and PTO vice-president.  I will also be serving as PTO president for the '07-'08 school year. 

 

I am a native of Oklahoma and grew up in Bethany.  I graduated from Putnam City West High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University in 1992.  I have been married to my husband Marcus for 10 years and we have two wonderful children.  Luke will be in 3rd grade at DCES and Laney will be in the 1st grade. 

 

In my spare time I enjoy shopping, traveling with my family and watching Luke play soccer and Laney dance.  I look forward to wonderful and exciting year at DCES!
