Hello! My name is Lacy Gustafson and I have been the visual art teacher at Deer
Creek Elementary since 2004. My teaching career began in 2001 in Oklahoma City.
I earned a Bachelor of Art from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master
of Science from Emporia State University in Kansas. As an educator, I have
trained in A+, Core Knowledge and Great Expectations. As an art teacher I am
able to combine my love of education and visual art. I am an alumni member of
the Gold Key Society for the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers. Art is part
of my daily life whether I am at school or at home. I consider myself lucky to
share the wonderful world of art with my young artists.
My husband is a firefighter
with Oklahoma City and together we enjoy the adventures of raising our little
guy.
