My name is Michelle Dobbs and I’m excited to be a secretary at Deer Creek Elementary.  I grew up in a small town in East Texas and graduated from Baylor University with a BS in Education. 

After graduation, I married my husband, David, and worked for EDS in the Dallas area.  David’s sales career with Cardinal Health moved us several places including Little Rock, Arkansas; Monroe, Louisiana; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Arlington, Texas, before moving to Edmond in 2005. 

During this time, I was privileged to be a stay-at-home mom to our 3 wonderful children.  This year Mandi is a junior at Deer Creek High School , Austin is in eighth grade at Deer Creek Middle School and Abby is in third grade here at Deer Creek Elementary. 

After deciding I didn’t want to teach full-time, I started subbing at Deer Creek Elementary two years ago and fell in love with the children and staff.  When a secretarial position opened up last spring, it seemed the perfect opportunity to become a part of this wonderful school.  

Away from school our family is very involved at Crossings Community Church where I serve as a Volunteer Coordinator for Special Events in Children’s Ministry.  I also enjoy spending time with my family, attending their activities and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys!
