Greetings Deer Creek Elementary families! My name is Chris Weatherford and I am the new PE teacher at DCE. I’ve taught PE the previous seven years at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and look forward to the new opportunity here at Deer Creek.

I was born in Kansas, and grew up in Colorado, where I met my husband of 19 years. Bill and I then moved to New Mexico where our almost 17 year old son, Riley was born and to become business owners and eat great Mexican food. We somehow made our way to Oklahoma and absolutely love it here.

My goal as a PE teacher is to expose the students to a variety of activities that will allow them to learn new skills and to become physically fit for a lifetime.
