I am excited for my first year as a Deer Creek Antler. This is my
first year in the teaching profession and I don’t think there is a
better school to start my teaching career at. I am very excited to
meet and work with all the staff, students and parents.
I graduated from the University of
Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Science in Education with my
degree in Physical Education in December of 2006. Go Broncos! I
grew up in Norman and yes, I am a Sooner fan.
I coached softball for four years
in Norman. Three at Longfellow middle school and one at Norman
High, my old stomping grounds. Last semester I worked as a teaching
assistant for my fourth grade teacher who is now the reading
specialist at Jackson Elementary in Norman.
Outside of teaching I love anything
active. I play coed softball and indoor soccer. I enjoy being
outside and on the lake as mush as possible. I spend most of my
free time with family and friends. I love to curl up on rainy days
with a good book or a great girly movie.
I am excited about meeting all my
students and having every child room first grade and up in my
classes. I’m looking forward to a great and active year! |
