This is my second year at Deer Creek Elementary. I love it.  I have been a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist for 16 years working with children of all ages and their families in a variety of settings, including Stillwater Public Schools, Private Practice and SoonerStart. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Oklahoma State University in 1990.

I am about to complete my Doctoral Degree in Literacy from Oklahoma State University. I believe that strong speech and language skills lay the groundwork for academic success.  I also believe speech-language pathologists can play an integral role in enhancing student learning in the school setting.

I have two unique and awesome daughters who are in 6th and 10th grade. We try to keep up with our four sweet but needy cats, Tugger, Lulu, Sophie and May, and our loveable, energetic dog, Honey. I look forward to teaching and growing with the students and staff this coming year.
