I am thrilled to be teaching at Deer Creek Elementary!!  I have taught in
Oklahoma, Florida, and Kansas for 19 years teaching second thru eighth
grade. 

I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Oklahoma City
University and my Master’s in Elementary Education from Southwestern Oklahoma
State University in Weatherford, OK. I have an endorsement in Special
Education and Reading while living in Florida.  I have also had the opportunity to
work for the SRA/McGraw-Hill Publishing Co. as a consultant in Florida and
Georgia.

I have been married to Mel for 36 years. We have 3 grown sons, Buddy, Tony,
and Brian.  I also have 3 wonderful daughter-in-laws, Jenny, Sarah, and Meg. Three
beautiful grandchildren, Rachel(6), Conner(3), and Sam (15months).  Oh, and 2 dogs Laddie and Zeus.

I enjoy being with my grandchildren, riding horses, and all outdoor
activities. On quite days, reading a great mystery novel!
