Hello! My name is Adrienne Fink and I will be teaching Passport Reading this year. This is my third year at Deer Creek Elementary. I have taught 4^th grade for two years and I am very excited about teaching reading this year!

I grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education along with certification to teach intermediate social studies and mathematics. Before teaching at Deer Creek I was an in-school math and reading tutor at Orvis Risner Elementary in Edmond, Oklahoma. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Reading at the University of Central Oklahoma.

I love spending time with my family and friends! When I am not in my classroom I enjoy reading, listening to music, and cooking. When I have time I also like to take dance classes. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful school with the best kids and parents that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting!

I knew very early that I wanted to be a teacher. I love children and I love opening their eyes to the world around them. It is my goal to teach every child to be a lifelong learner and to find an appreciation for reading. I expect all my students to put forth their best effort in everything they do! I believe that a huge part of your child’s success is cooperation between parent and teacher. Together we can make this year fun and successful!
