My name is Dixi Palu and this will be my 

second year at Deer Creek Elementary 

where I am excited to continue teaching

second grade! I feel blessed to have 

such an opportunity to be a part of Deer

Creek Schools. I graduated from the 

University of Central Oklahoma with a 

degree in elementary education and plan

to continue my education in the future. 

I am married to a wonderful man who is 

extremely supportive and kind. We have

a small yorkie who is very playful and fun

and two African Sulcata Tortoises that

keep us busy in yard work! When I'm not

teaching or enjoying school activities, 

my husband and I like to explore new 

places and cultures through traveling. 

I am excited about meeting more of the 

DCES community and look forward to 

having another great year!!
