I am excited to be at Deer Creek Elementary! I
have 18 years of teaching experience – 2nd, 3rd,
4th and 5th grades. My first position was
with Wellston Elementary in the 4th grade. After staying
home with my children, I returned to teaching at Chandler Public
Schools. Alan and I have 3 wonderful sons. My oldest son, Steven,
27, is a graduate of OSU in Biological Sciences and is continuing
his education in UCO’s nursing program. Zach, 25, attended
Southeastern Oklahoma State University on a baseball scholarship,
and upon completion of his eligibility, he came home and graduated
from UCO in Safety. He currently works for Chesapeake Energy in
their operations department. Eric, 23, is a senior at OSU majoring
in Aviation Management and Aerospace Logistics.
I grew up in a
military family and was able to live in many great places, such as
Hawaii, Holland, Germany, and I was born in Morocco, Africa! I am
the oldest of 4 children – I have a brother and twin sisters. I
enjoy my family, reading, traveling, cross stitching and sports.
