My name is Elizabeth Campbell. This is my second year to teach school. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Abilene Christian University. I graduated in May of 2006 and stayed in Abilene for my first year of teaching. I tutored for the TAKS test the first semester and taught 2^nd grade for the second semester I had a great first year.  

I grew up in the Panhandle of Texas (Borger), where I lived for 18 years. I went to Abilene Christian University in 2001 and that is where I met my husband Kyle. We just got married on August 11^th! I like to say I spent my honeymoon at Deer Creek. I was so excited to have this job that I almost didn’t care that we weren’t honeymooning. J We have a miniature daschund named Camie and she is our baby. Kyle is currently working at the Oklahoma City Stock Yards for the Western Livestock Commissions Company. His ultimate goal is to be a cattle buyer. That is how we ended up here in Oklahoma. We really like it; it has been a great adventure for us. 

I am thrilled to be here at Deer Creek, I am already overwhelmed with what a wonderful school it is. I have wanted to teach kindergarten since I was in kindergarten so I am so excited to be here teaching. I love teaching children and I love children. There is nothing like the reward of being a teacher. I am going to love walking through your child’s first year experience with them. I look forward to a great year!
