My name is Elise Bradford, and I will be a third grade teacher
this year! It is an incredible opportunity to teach at a Great
Expectations model school! This will be an awesome year for both
your children and me!
I was born and raised in Chickasha, Oklahoma. I attended
Oklahoma State University where I pursued a degree in Elementary
Education. Following my junior year I was selected for the ExCel
program at OSU which is a clinical practice internship that allowed
me to student teach for an additional semester in a third grade
classroom. I graduated cum laude from OSU with a Bachelor of
Science in Elementary Education in December, 2008. After
graduation, I spent a semester substitute teaching which gave me
experience in several classroom settings.
In May I married my wonderful husband Angelo, whom also graduated
from OSU with a degree in Construction Management. We moved to
Edmond in July, and are still getting to know the area. I enjoy
hanging out with family and friends, playing games, watching movies,
cooking, reading, watching OSU sports, and going to church.
I am dedicated to instilling responsibility along with a love
for acquiring knowledge in the lives of my students. My desire is
to give young people a strong foundation in academics, character
development and life skills.
I am proud to be at Deer Creek Elementary School, and I cannot
wait to meet everyone! We are going to have a terrific year in third
grade!
