Library Leaders
 

Library Leaders is being offered to fifth grade students only and will be headed up by Mrs. Godfrey the DCES media specialist. Each Library Leader will become the “owner” of a section of bookshelves in the library for the entire school year. The students will need to be released from class for 15-20 minutes per week to “monitor” their shelves and make sure they are correctly organized according to the Dewey Decimal System and that they are neat, dusted, and that all damaged books are repaired. Library Leaders will meet from 8:00-8:45 am one Friday each month in the media center for a light breakfast and to work on projects. More information about Library Leader responsibilities will be outlined during training by Mrs. Godfrey.
