DCES Walk-A-Thon & Carnival

What:     An all-school Carnival and Walk-A-Thon to support Deer Creek Elementary

When:    Thursday, September 18th, 2014

Walk-A-Thon:  During the day students will walk laps around the school parking lot. They will each have a personal goal of how many laps they want to do. We invite you to come and walk with your child! We would love to have you here!

Carnival:  6-7:30pm  - During the carnival there will be games sponsored by every class.

A Chick-Fil-A meal will be available for pre-purchase.

Pre-K:                                      9:30-10:00am
dergarten:                       10:05-10:45am
1st grade:                               10:05-10:45am
2nd grade:                               8:50-9:30am
3rd grade:                               8:50-9:30am
4th grade:                               10:50-11:30am

Special Note:        At Deer Creek Elementary we continue to strive to use the most 21st century research-based teaching practices and resources. Your donations are the avenue for providing these. We use donations to purchase technology, supplies, books, math manipulatives, music instruments, music programs, PE equipment, art supplies, playground equipment, classroom furniture, and so much more! Thank you in advance for your donation.

Walk-A-Thon Steps

Step 1:  Make a family donation (Remember you can ask grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles to help as well). The school goal is to raise $75 per family. Please write on the lines provided below.
Step 2: Send the money back to school in this envelope with your child’s name and teacher.

  Antler Alert!

 Antler Alert will be held each Friday morning at 8:50 in the gymnasium.  At this time we will recognize Antler Pride and celebrate birthdays.  You are more than welcome to join us as we celebrate student accomplishments!
