 Help us celebrate our Grandparents!  On September 11, 2015 all grandparents are welcome in our classrooms at DCES.  The schedule for the day is as follows:

Kindergarten - 9:30-10:00 a.m.
1st Grade - 10:00-10:30 a.m.
3rd Grade - 10:30-11:00 a.m.
2nd Grade - 11:00-11:30 a.m.
4th Grade - 11:30-12:00 a.m.

Thursday, September 24 is the big day for both the Walk-a-thon and our DCES carnival.  
The schedule for the Walk-a-thon is:
Kindergarten - 8:50-9:30 a.m.
1st - 9:30-10:10 a.m.
2nd and 3rd - 10:10-10:50 a.m.
4th - 11:00 - 11:40 a.m.

Please help your child gather donations to support our school and to set a laps goal for the Walk-a-thon.
The DCES carnival will run from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Come play games and have fun!
If you want dinner that evening at the carnival, preorder a Chick-fil-a dinner by September 18, 2015.
You can get creative and participate in the Carnival Cake Decorating Contest.  All cakes must be delivered by 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 24.

 Antler Alert will be held each Friday morning at 8:45 a.m. in the gymnasium.  At this time we will recognize Antler Pride and celebrate birthdays.  You are more than welcome to join us as we celebrate student accomplishments!
